We’re absolutely delighted to share that The Farmhouse Kitchen has been named a finalist in the Coffee Shop/Café of the Year category at the Norfolk & Suffolk Magazine Food & Drink Awards 2026.
And there’s something extra special about this one – it’s our second year running as finalists!
The awards celebrate the very best of the region’s food and drink scene, recognising the independent businesses, producers, farmers, cafés, restaurants and people who make Norfolk and Suffolk such a brilliant place to eat and drink.
From Field to Fork to Café of the Year
Last year was a particularly special one for us. We were finalists in both the Field to Fork Award and Best Newcomer, before taking home the Field to Fork Award.
That recognition meant so much because the connection between our farm, our food and our community is at the heart of everything we do.
This year, we’re thrilled to be recognised for the café itself – from the food we serve and the local ingredients we use, to the team who welcome our customers every day.
The Farmhouse Kitchen was created as a natural extension of our family farm, giving us another way to share what we do and bring people closer to the countryside around us. Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, brunch, coffee and cake, or picking up something from The Pantry, we want every visit to feel relaxed, welcoming and worth coming back for.
A Huge Thank You
Being named a finalist for a second year is something we’re incredibly proud of, but it wouldn’t be possible without our brilliant team, our local suppliers and, most importantly, the customers who continue to support us.
Every visit, recommendation, review and kind word means a huge amount to our family and the whole team.
We’re now looking forward to joining the other fantastic finalists at The Assembly House in Norwich on Monday 14 September, where this year’s winners will be announced.
Whatever happens on the night, we’re just very proud to be there again – and to be part of such a brilliant food and drink community across Norfolk and Suffolk.
