What’s Been Going On at The Farmhouse Kitchen & Pantry This Spring?

Spring is nearly over at The Farmhouse Kitchen & Pantry, and what a season it has been!

As the days have become longer and the weather warmer, we’ve been delighted to welcome so many of you back to the farm. The biggest change this spring has been the opening of our terrace, giving guests the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and cake while taking in the beautiful countryside surroundings.

A Huge Thank You

The May Bank Holiday weekend was our busiest on record, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support from our customers. A huge thank you also goes to our fantastic team, whose hard work and dedication helped make such a busy weekend run smoothly.

A Taste of Thailand

One of the recent highlights was our hugely popular Supper Club. This May, guests enjoyed a feast of authentic Thai flavours, beginning with a sharing starter platter featuring:

  • Chicken Satay Skewers
  • Crispy Pork Belly
  • Vegetable Spring Rolls
  • Sweetcorn Salad
  • Chilli Fried Peanuts

For the main event, diners shared dishes including:

  • Chicken Cashew Stir Fry
  • Tom Yum Goong Seafood
  • Beef Short Rib Penang
  • Massaman Potatoes

And to finish, the classic Mango Sticky Rice proved to be the perfect sweet ending to the evening.

The response was fantastic, and we’re already looking forward to our next supper club event.

New Faces on the Farm

Spring has also brought some exciting new arrivals to the farm. We’re delighted to introduce our newest residents, Fuzz and Ted, our friendly donkeys. They’ve already become firm favourites with visitors, and we know many of you will enjoy meeting them on your next visit.

About Us

As a multi-generational family-run farm and business, our heritage and story are so meaningful to us and act as the life force behind all that we do. The farm itself started with one man, a few cows and some pigs, and over the generations, we have changed, adapted and grown to where we are now. The Farmhouse Kitchen is a natural extension of our farm, giving us another opportunity to serve our local community and create meaningful connections with those around us.
