Celebrate Mother’s Day at The Farmhouse Kitchen

Mother’s Day is a time to slow down and celebrate the mums, mother figures and carers who mean so much to us. This year, why not swap the usual gifts for something truly memorable? At The Farmhouse Kitchen, we’re inviting you to gather, indulge and make beautiful memories together in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.

A Taste of the Farm, Made with Love

Born from the success of our farm shop, The Pantry, The Farmhouse Kitchen was created to bring people together over exceptional local food. Rooted in a farm-to-fork philosophy, our ever-changing menu champions fresh, seasonal ingredients, including milk from our own pedigree herd of nearly 500 cows.

Whether you’re planning a relaxed breakfast, a long lunch, or coffee and cake with the family, our kitchen is the perfect setting to celebrate.

Join us for our daily brunch menu (8:30am – 2:30pm).
Please note: weekends are very busy – bookings are strongly advised.

Make It a Mother’s Day Weekend to Remember

Why limit the celebration to one day?

At The Barns at Wheatacre Hall Farm, you’ll find eight beautifully restored luxury barns nestled in the stunning Norfolk countryside. With rustic charm, cosy interiors and peaceful surroundings, they offer a dreamy, relaxing escape.

Imagine:

  • Waking up to countryside views
  • Enjoying brunch in The Farmhouse Kitchen
  • Spending the afternoon exploring Norfolk
  • Stocking up on some evening goodies from the Pantry
  • Returning to a warm, homely barn for the evening

It’s the perfect way to treat someone special to rest, quality time and a little countryside magic.

Celebrate Every Kind of Mum

Mother’s Day isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about celebrating mums, step-mums, grandmothers, aunties, carers, mentors and all the incredible mother figures who nurture, guide and support us.

However you choose to celebrate – brunch, afternoon tea, a farm shop treat, or a countryside stay – we’re here to help you make it meaningful.

Book Early – Mother’s Day Fills Fast

Mother’s Day is one of our most popular times of the year, and tables fill quickly. If you’re planning to join us at The Farmhouse Kitchen, we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

What a year it’s been. In April 2025, we opened the doors to The Farmhouse Kitchen, and we honestly haven’t stopped smiling since. What began as an idea sparked by an unused, rather tired building on our farm has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined, a place...

About Us

As a multi-generational family-run farm and business, our heritage and story are so meaningful to us and act as the life force behind all that we do. The farm itself started with one man, a few cows and some pigs, and over the generations, we have changed, adapted and grown to where we are now. The Farmhouse Kitchen is a natural extension of our farm, giving us another opportunity to serve our local community and create meaningful connections with those around us.
